Maybe it'll generate new people but I know I wont participate every week even if i had the time because it is not that appealing. I feel its going to become like the woes we had a few months ago, 2 v 2.
Maybe every other week?
or like a trial month and vote on what should happen with it. I think that would be the best bet.

Me and scott were discussing it, and the trial month def sounds like the way to go if not anything else. Def interested in seeing what the max lvl and stuff will be!

How about baby woe? someone proposed it earlier but i didn't see further comments... i think it will be more interesting.
And how about a woe for super novices? We can get a lot of variety from that, as different party roles and strategies. IMHO novice woe would mainly be like "the guild with more people wins".
Baby woe or super novy woe makes it a lot more challenging (and item restrictions could still apply to keep it friendly to new players).
Thanks for your time.

Problem for baby woe is that we have no orphan system in the server, so anyone who has no friends in the server will have to self-marry to participate, which in my opinion is just a waste of time, effort and zeny... 'sides not that attractive to new players... and SN woe... if soemone wants to WoE with a SN is welcome to do so in the normal woe, heavens know i wanna get my ninja into shape for woeing, and same with SN...
Also, i would like to agree with having trials for novice woe, and votes and all that, but seing that it takes quite a lot to script a whole new WoE system, i hardly think making Gms work two times is worth it. Instead what we players could do is decide to enter or not, novice woe will be 30 minutes, and heavens know in some normal woes that's the time some have to stay waiting for some action to happen... what i WOULD suggest is modifying castle drops, too much of a price for a 30 minute woe the normal investment-reward castle system, so why not lowering the price and the number of TC's? Just a suggestion though... and another thing we plyers CAN do is remember this is being done for teh lulz, and avoid usual after-WoE drama...

Lol Because no matter how many times your Noob pawns his Noob, you're still both Noobs.
I don't know if thirty minutes is enough. I've seen the castles. They do look a bit smaller. But remember novices are really slow. And I'd hate to see a 99 novice with tds and sliephs trying to get through faster. Who knows. Maybe start with 30 minutes, and if it's too short make it longer?

*sniffs opportunity* well... in my opinion(and i'm going by if we use the flag thingies with 200 hp, had one of them as a pvp event once) and i'd use an injustice card and a crap load of aspd. Since sonic blow does do it's 8 individual hits that would make it go by faster, also i recommend making the max lvl below 94, since i would use 2 bris's. So i think 30 mins should honestly be fine.

Were not using novice castles as discussed on the previous page.
I've been drawn away from this topic lately with a few other changes being made and with work, to all the views about having a "trial" period I assure you that isn't going to happen, if you think Jeff is doing all this work for a "trial" is non-sense. However if this is implanted and after awhile it doesn't take off as well as expected and flops that might be a different case.
Personally I don't know why some people would rather not have something different to do rather than not have it, its like saying well (example) endless tower doesn't really get used that much, lets just get rid of it..
I'd be glad to take part in such a thing, It might be War of Emperium but its on a whole new level compared to the other one.
I'm going to plan the in's and out's over the weekend if i get time, try and make a few things set in stone

I like Blake's idea of no one over a certain level. 90 would be best.

To keep it friendlier to new players, I think that it would be better to keep the level cap even lower than that. Leveling a novice could be a pain. Sure we have other charas to leech them, but there is people out there trying to level up to 90 his main chara...
I'll say 50~60 would be enough. and also makes the fights faster.
i'm not saying 'don't', just giving my opinion...
