<Will be posted on July 3rd-4th>

So basically the rules will resemble Magic The Gathering, except a few parts in which I think would make the game quite a bit different for players to well... play...

Game Setup
- Players (usually a 1v1 game) each have 20 Life Points (Much like magic).
- Players can/will go through the basic "Phases" of a game.
In this order respectively.
= Untap Phase
= Upkeep Phase <Unskippable>
= Draw Phase <Unskippable>
= Main Phase <Unskippable>
= Battle Phase
= End Phase

- Players start off with 6 cards in their hand, and may draw 1 card during the "Draw Phase" of their turn.

Card Types
Monster: The main cards of the game. Each card has several aspects to consider.
= Monster Level: Determines the amount of Summoning Stars (See Summoning below) needed to summon the creature
= A: Short for Attack Points
= D: Short for Defense Points
= H: Short for Health Points
= Type/Element: This is obvious, and affects a few effect cards.
= Abilities: Each card usually has a special ability. Read each individual card to find out what it does.

Deck Master: In addition to Monster Cards, these cards also have to be summoned. These cards are special monsters, that if they die, players lose the game. However these cards usually are immune from most abilities and targeting spells. Each Deck Master can be upgraded to a higher one (except the Highest one of course).

Summoning
- During each player's "Upkeep Phase", they have 3 Summoning Stars (SS).
- Monsters each have a level, and can only be summoning by using up the same amount of stars for that respective monsters.
- However certain monsters have abilities that reduce the cost or to gain more SS per turn. Please read each card carefully :]!

Battle Rules/System
- Monsters cannot attack on the turn they are summoned, unless they have an ability that overcomes Summoning Sickness. This does not apply to Token Creatures.
- When a Monster attacks, the attacked player may choose UNTAPPED creatures to block with or the player can take damage directly as well.
- The Attacking Player may designate their attacking monsters to attack a player's Tapped creatures as well. However when doing so, their attack is reduced by 50%, Rounded Up. Moreover, if a player designated to attack a tapped monster, the defending players is NOT allowed to defend it with his/her untapped creatures.
- Of course when a monster attacks, it ends up being Tapped.
- When a Monster attacks, It considers it's A compared to the D of the defending monster. So (Attacking Monsters "A") - (Defending Monsters "D") = (Defending Monster's Damage to H).
IE: A Monster attacking with A-4, on a monster with D-3, deals 1 Damage to H to that defending creature
- If the value is negative, the attacking creature takes the Damage instead.
- When a Monster has H-0, they are sent to the graveyard.

Battle Technicalities
How a game is going to work in the forums is that...

... when a game starts it will begin in a whole new Thread. The Thread will obviously be appropriately named so that the pages don't go on and on and on.

The way the "posting/turns" are going to go is that.
I or any Game Mod, opens the thread to deal with a setup.
Then the players will be PMed, their cards and when it is their turn.
Note: AIM/MSN can be replaced instead of PM, it is a mod/player choice.

So the Sample Flow would be...

= Step 1: Posting of Thread
= Step 2: Players "A" and "B" are PMed
= Step 3: Player A is PMed his new drawn card, and will post what he is going to do during his Main Phase.
= Step 4: Player B is given a "post Main-Phase" moment to use a creature ability to do something to mess up Player A, if and only if Player B is CAPABLE of doing so. Otherwise this Step is Skipped.
= Step 5: Player A can declare his Battle Phase, and who he is going to Attack with.
= Step 6: Player B is given the chance to choose defenders and such.
= Step 7: Player A's Turn ends
= Step 8: The Mod/Me, will Update the status of the board, including the Untap/Upkeep/Draw Phases. Such that the next player's turn is updated all the way up to his/her Main Phase.
= Step 9: Repeat Steps 3-8 in a vice-versa manner.

<Update soon>

Link Card 28,000 HP

Shield Chain- Do five rapid strikes to one target at 100 damage a shot. This card is then counterattacked by the target several times, usually until dead.

Grand Cross- Put your head between your knees and do 1,000 damage to your opponent. Kiss your ass goodbye and do 4,000 damage to yourself. Suffer several counterattacks; pray you have life insurance.

Sacrifice- Do 2,000 damage to your opponent. Kill yourself. Immediately.

Actually, you'll be doing both.

Except that the "classes" will be the deck masters :].

sounds pretty good. One thing though, when people start playing each other will they get to choose their own deck or is it just gonna be completely random each time?

any clues on how said cards are going to be regulated?

You know, to make sure no one has like 50000 overpowered cards?

Not really :[, There might be like a limit for certain cards (Default is 4). But we'll have to do a run through of cards, and see if any are overpowered. Even then, all we have to do is nerf the cards :].

Since Rpg is making the effects himself, the ro card number is irrelevant at this point
